Customs Brokerage Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Research and assign HTS classifications with cited rulings and precedent notes clients can defend.
  • Draft CBP entry packages — invoices, classifications, duties, fees — aligned with WideScale standards.
  • Support binding ruling requests and post-entry corrections when filings demand follow-up.
  • Partner with logistics coordinators so documents on the operations side match clearance facts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or import operations.
  • Familiarity with ACE, duty computation, and binding ruling portals.
  • Comfort translating tariff nuance into plain language for operations teams.
  • Licensed Customs Broker credential preferred — not strictly required for analyst track.
