Customs Brokerage Analyst
Responsibilities
- Research and assign HTS classifications with cited rulings and precedent notes clients can defend.
- Draft CBP entry packages — invoices, classifications, duties, fees — aligned with WideScale standards.
- Support binding ruling requests and post-entry corrections when filings demand follow-up.
- Partner with logistics coordinators so documents on the operations side match clearance facts.
Requirements
- 2+ years in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or import operations.
- Familiarity with ACE, duty computation, and binding ruling portals.
- Comfort translating tariff nuance into plain language for operations teams.
- Licensed Customs Broker credential preferred — not strictly required for analyst track.
